In conclusion, Moretsu Pirates is a jewel of a show, but you might have some issues with the way it's been carved. Still, do stick it out and make it through to ep 5. I'm told that eps 6 - 12 is much better, but I have to get there first. =)

A bit late, but I'm proud to say that I finished my Meme March challenge. I didn't want to announce it yesterday in case you thought it was an April Fool's joke. XD

It was tough going, but there were enough challenging memes on bakerstreet and memebells to keep me going. There were some ideas that never even crossed my mind until I saw it in the memes! You all should check these comms out.

I'm back from the UK and with good news to boot - I got into Cambridge, and will be doing an MBA there in September!

It's a quick course - only 1 year, but it should be pretty exciting. I forgot to bring my camera to the interview, so I didn't get to take pretty pictures of the campus and the colleges. Still, I liked the place, and look forward to taking pictures when I'm going to study there.

I came back from the UK just in time for Chinese New Year, so Happy Year of the Dragon everyone!

I'd stay and talk, but I'm currently being rushed off my feet by ~good news~ that I hope to share with everyone soon. Let's just say it'll be a busy 2012!

I've been lurking on the three weeks for dreamwidth feed (also can be found under the "Latest Things" section), and OMG so much content you guys! Here are some things I've geeked over in the last few days:

- DW is at it's best when it comes to creating knowledge and sharing awareness. An awesome example of this is She's Kind of a Big Deal started by ar. Go and read about awesome non-fiction women!

- Frequently (Or Not So Frequently) Asked Questions is awesome too.

- On the creative front, there are prompt posts such as the Female Character Trope Fest being run by such_heights and picture prompts with pics contributed by untonuggan

- I love fandom pimp posts. Especially if they come with picspam. That's why I was all over penny's picspam of G.I. Joe Renegades like white on rice. EVEN THOUGH I'M NOT IN THE FANDOM.

- Music rec posts make my day. I already like Big Bang, but this song recced by painless is new to me.

5. How about when you're not on the computer?

I spend 10 hour days at work, so when I'm not vegging out in front of the computer I'm vegging out in front of the TV. I mostly borrow DVDs but sometimes I follow dramas. Currently I'm following a Chinese detective-wuxia THE FOUR and the K-drama Dong Yi.

I'm also a foodie, so I eat out quite a bit with parents and friends. And watch movies in actual cinemas. I've also gotten into the habit of walking after work.
