I'd originally not intended to write about this, but seeing the NaNoWriMo tag on the latest page inspired me to make a NaNo post too.
This is my first time doing a NaNo. Previously I was put off by the word count, but last month I made a breakthrough in my daily writing by averaging about 1k a day, and I thought why not? It's only another 700 words more! I even chose a super indulgent crossover fic that I've been planning since June this year to write.
The first day yesterday was a little scanty at 1569 words, but it's close enough. Not to mention that it's only 9am and I've filled 7 smses worth of writing on my phone. Once I've transcribed that to the computer I'll be able to do the wordcount. This is really fun!
