There was a song Kyousuke liked to play. When Sayaka first heard it, she asked, "What's that?"
Kyousuke set down his violin and bow before replying, "Ave Maria."
Sayaka scrunched her nose. She didn't know Italian, but wasn't Maria a girl's name? "Is it a song about a girl?"
"No, it's a Catholic prayer."
"Why do you play Catholic songs?"
"It's beautiful I guess," he said. "I feel that it can touch a person's soul."
Sayaka didn't understand how a prayer could touch her soul.
Years later, when Kyouko prayed for Sayaka, Sayaka finally understood how a prayer could touch a person's soul.
