3 Weeks for DW: 21 days meme
For those who are new to this dw, hallo! *waves* I'm fay-e, and I like to use my dw as a jotter book, which means a lot of WIPs are posted here once they reach a critical enough mass for sharing.
I can't believe it's been more than a year since I set up my dw. I figured this out after finding out that 3 Weeks for Dreamwdith is back again! But after the disaster that was last year's 3 Weeks, I was a bit leery of signing up for this year's fest. I don't have anything planned for this year, and I still haven't finished what I started out to do for last year's fest. *looks at her icons and sighs*
But! I found a meme by
finch for 3 Weeks for Dreamwidth, and that I can do. =) Please assume I'm operating in a time zone not my own XD
1. Why did you sign up for Dreamwidth?
I started out on LJ because I wanted to post fanfic to a particular comm. From there, I got into the habit of drafting fic directly in LJ and updating it to my beta filters on LJ. It made cross-posting to my favourite comm easier too.
Later on, when the comm became less active LJ became a way to keep up with fandom, but less for creating. Somehow I became less comfortable with LJ as a fannish platform, but I lingered, in the hope that something would catch my interest.
Then I started hearing about Dreamwidth. I came over and immediately fell in love with the layout and features. Then I started hanging out in the comms and on Dreamwidth's Latest page and got hooked on the dynamic ideas of the people on this site.
As time went by, I found that Dreamwidth was just getting better and better in its features and its content. Now, all my posts go to Dreamwidth, with a small subset that I mirror. I guess I like it here =)
Rest of the questions:
2. Why did you choose your journal name? What does it mean?
3. Do you use other blogging sites? Why or why not?
4. What do you do online when you're not on DW?
5. How about when you're not on the computer?
6. What do you wish people who read your journal knew about you?
7. What is your favourite community on Dreamwidth?
8. What is your philosophy on journal layouts?
9. Tell me about your default icon.
10. Pick 10 random icons from your userpics and tell me about them.
11. What features do you think Dreamwidth should have that it doesn't currently?
12. What do you consider the 10 most "telling" interests from the list on your profile? Why?
13. Do you have any unique interests on your user profile? What are they? How'd they get there?
14. What is your favourite subject to discuss on Dreamwidth?
15. What 5 things are you obsessed with currently?
16. What are you glad you did but haven't really had a chance to post about?
17. How many people on your reading list have you met IRL?
18. What don't you talk about here, either because it's too personal or because you don't have the energy?
19. What are you most interested in reading?
20. Any questions from the audience?
21. What's your favourite thing about Dreamwidth?
