Resolutions and New Years

Typically, I don't make resolutions for the new year. I had a tendency of choosing resolutions that were easily achieved, and what was the point of making resolutions that I would tell myself to do every now and then?

This year, however, is different. If you guys remembered, sometime in August I set the following goals for myself:

1) Stay creative

2) Be happy

3) Learn to say YES rather than NO

Well, I'm happy to say that I've managed to stick to those goals for 4 months now. *cheers* I just hadn't written about it online since I had been writing in paper notebooks all this while. It's been obsessive enough that I've used up at least one notebook already, and written in two languages (English, writing in Chinese now). It has been pretty exciting!

I've also done something pretty crazy things I thought I'd never do. I started exercising (!), finished the five year old Bleach horror fic (!!) and got in touch with some old friends (!!!). All in all, I feel a lot better than I did this time last year.

So because of that, I'm going to resolve to keep to these goals for this year. An entire year. It's going to be exciting! Wish me luck >_<
